An intimate 12-day artist residency in Ure, Lofoten, bringing together a small group of women artists from different backgrounds to create, exchange perspectives and find new inspiration.

Surrounded by the breathtaking Arctic landscape, you’ll have the freedom to explore your creativity, connect with like-minded souls and discover what happens when extraordinary people meet in an extraordinary place.

Through ARTDOM, she has connected women artists around the world to create shared artworks celebrating freedom, equality and the beauty of different perspectives.

Good to know.

Women artists at any stage of their career, looking for space, inspiration and like-minded company.

Apply for your place. The ARTDOM team will review it and contact you if you are invited to continue with the full application.

You make your own way to Lofoten, as travel to and from the region is not included in the residency. URE is just a 15-minute drive from Leknes Airport. Once you are selected, we'll help you plan your journey, and airport pickup is included.

In a shared waterfront cottage, with breakfast every day and dinners together. Prefer your own space? Private rooms are available for an extra fee, subject to availability.

Warm layers for Lofoten's changeable weather, and whatever materials feed your practice.

Not at all. Work at your own pace, try something new, or simply be present. Sharing is always welcome, never required.

Yes. We can provide an invitation letter for grant and funding applications. Just request one in the interest form.

Support a woman artist whose work you believe in.

Selected artists may apply for an Artist Sponsorship, giving collectors the opportunity to support a woman artist they believe in and make her participation possible.

Through ARTDOM x URE, your support gives a selected artist the opportunity to step away from everyday life, find inspiration in the extraordinary landscape of Lofoten, and dedicate time to her artistic practice.

Sponsorship can cover the full residency or contribute towards the cost of participation.
